Hi, I’m Kevin — founder and lead photographer of Pivot Port, born and raised in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood.
My creative journey began in music as a singer-songwriter and producer before evolving into artist development and management. Recording taught me rhythm, emotion, and timing. The industry taught me how to adapt, grow, embrace change — how to pivot.
Over the years, I found myself drawn more to what happens behind the scenes. I discovered that I’m most at home observing rather than being the center of attention. There’s something incredibly meaningful about helping people fully step into their moment and celebrating them as they are.
That perspective eventually led me behind the lens. More often than not, you’ll find me carrying an overly heavy camera bag, crouching into awkward positions, chasing the best light, and searching for the angle that best tells the story honestly.
My experience has spanned music, fashion, editorial, and now the privilege of capturing love stories. No matter the setting, I never take that responsibility lightly. Being trusted to preserve pivotal moments is something I’m deeply grateful for.
